Rules & Regulations

  1. Chemainus Garden Holiday Resort  is private property.  
  2.  All resort guests must register at the Welcome Center upon arrival. All visitors of guests must be registered with Security before their arrival.
  3. Guests of property owners must register at the office located in the farm house.
  4. Maximum occupancy per site: 6 persons.
  5. Off road motorcycles may not be operated inside the resort.
  6. Swimming is not permitted in the ponds.
  7. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  8. Speed limit of 15 KM will be enforced within the park area.
  9. Only two pets are allowed per site. All pets must be on leashes at all times and must be cleaned up after by their owners. Animals are the exclusive responsibility of their owners. Noisy pets will not be allowed. All immunization records must be kept up-to-date.  Pets are not allowed in the following areas: all buildings, horseshoe pits.
  10. Please advise your families and friends of our office hours. Every effort will be made to deliver EMERGENCY messages.  
  11. Laundry facilities are available 12 hours daily. No clotheslines will be allowed.
  12. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. Please think of your neighbors.
  13. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. & Check-out time is 12 noon. Please re-register at the office by 10 a.m.
  14. A two-car maximum is allowed per site. No car repairs will be allowed on site. Only holders of a valid drivers license are permitted to operate a vehicle of any kind, including golf carts.
  15. Valuable objects should be stored away. We are not responsible for personal property.
  16. Open campfires will be allowed in desiganted containers. Charcoal fires in grills will be allowed.
  17. Do not throw garbage in bathhouse containers. Do not throw anything except tissue provided into the toilets. Turn off lights and fans when leaving the bathhouses. Please keep the doors closed.
  18. Garbage for your unit must be placed in the bins, in a secured plastic bag. Do not leave trash outside overnight.
  19. Rules and regulations may be changed at any time without prior notice.
  20. Registered guests may have their mail forwarded to 3042 River Road, Chemainus, BC V0R 1K0  and it will be held for pickup at the Farm House
